Some parts of the course feel as though you are playing in the US or Spain/Portugal with spectacular views and houses around the course.
White tees, par 72 : 6,692 yards

Bowood is one of my favourite golf courses in North Cornwall. It's a relatively new course, but it's doesn't feel like it when playing around. My favourite holes are the par 3 11th, par 4 12th and par 5 13th. The 11th is a long par for but it plays massively downhill so club selection is tough! The 12th is a beautiful hole through a corridor of tree's with water on the left of the tee shot with a stream running across the front of the green. The 13th is a massive double dog leg par five. It's a tricky hole that you'll need to plot your way around. It's a tough hole to even reach in 3 for a low handicap golfer! The course can get quite wet during winter, which makes it play long - but I have played it in all 4 seasons and it's always playable and good fun. Highly recommended.
