I've have done a couple of golf breaks down in Cornwall and Trethorne was the base for each of them. The accommodation was good, with the dinner and breakfast good at the club house. Launceston is only a short drive away as well in case you want to pop to a local pub. The course itself is a really interesting challenge. I think it was built into an old quarry so there are some real elevation changes. Quite a lot of shots into greens are from up high which most golfers prefer. Some of the shots in will take a bit of creativity as well. We have played in April time when it was a bit wet and the course quite boggy, although I know they have done some extensive work on re-modelling a few holes and improving drainage recently. Overall - really good, fun course, highly recommended.
